Introducing the McMurdo Oceanographic Observatory - affectionately known as MOO. The first installation of its kind in Antarctica, under the sea ice of McMurdo Sound, Ross Sea. The McMurdo Oceanographic Observatory was developed to facilitate marine science in the furthest-south accessible marine habitat in the world.
